Frequently asked questions

Yes. Medicare Part A and Part B cover certain home health services when your doctor certifies that you are homebound and need skilled care. Covered services can vary, and families should confirm coverage with their plan or case manager. Lucid can help explain supportive care options clearly. There is typically no cost to you for Medicare-covered home health. Call us at (703) 270-4773 and we can help clarify what may apply to your situation.

Virginia Medicaid offers several waiver programs for home and community-based services, including the CCC Plus waiver and the EDCD waiver. Eligibility generally depends on income, assets, and level of care need. The process can feel overwhelming but Lucid's team can help walk you through it. Call (703) 270-4773 to get started.

Nursing Care focuses on support such as monitoring, medication-related help, recovery support, and family communication. Personal care and attendant care focus on daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and household routines. Lucid can help identify the right level of support for the person receiving care.

In many cases we can begin the intake process within 24 to 48 hours of your first call. For families transitioning home from a hospital or rehab facility, we work to arrange care as quickly as possible to support a smooth discharge.
